Eyelash extensions are all the rage right now and it's not hard to understand why. Dark, full lashes frame the eyes making them appear bigger and brighter, while giving our client a more youthful appearance.

MST Tradeshow

Thanks to a tremendous amount of effort on numerous peoples parts, the tradeshow was a success! I learned so many new and fascinating nail and hair techniques from our International Artists, I feel refreshed and inspired. So be watching for more posts, and don't forget to check out the slideshow :)

                    

Okay, I was waiting to make an entire slideshow so all of you could see the day-by-day process of a TCA peel, but I couldn't wait after comparing the before and afters. This is after only one peel! Look how much pigmentation it removed, not to mention the softening of her fine lines! We will be repeating this one more time in about three weeks to see if we can rid the rest of her more stubborn spots.

MST Tradeshow

It has been too long since I've posted but I have had an exciting, challenging, exhausting project I'm working on. This kind of project is right up my ally. If I'm not challenged and busy, I'm not happy. :)
My school, Maximum Style Tec in Logan, Utah is putting together their first anual tradeshow February 28 and March 1! Now, while this has been a collaborative effort by the entire staff and sudents (and they have been amazing, I might add)  It has been my baby to actually orchestrate schedules amongst the Artistic Designers, and staff, schedule classes for salon professionals, design the tradeshow floor and vendors and put together a successful tradeshow. We are very honored to have Sue Pemberton, Damien Carney, Yolly Ten Koppel, Manuel Rodriguez and Trang Nguyen joining us. Along with Joico, Pivot Point and Oddysey Nail System guest stage artists. I have special projects I am working on with the students and will post pics as these come along. Expect more exciting news about the tradeshow over the next couple weeks. Counting down till the big event!

The students have been working so hard in getting prepared for our upcoming tradeshow. One of our Instructors, Tracy, has been working closely with the students in challenging their skills and we will be having a grand runway finale show with our students work. They will complete an entire look on a model from hair, to nails, to dress. You all need to come to the tradeshow to see! This youtube video shows some of our students in practice. Enjoy.
